I am prescribed 30mg flurazepam (Dalmane) for sleep. I'm wondering if it's worth it to plug a solution of water/flurazepam since it is freely soluble in water? The oral BA is 83% but I figured plugging might be a bit better in terms of a quicker onset and slightly higher BA. Orally, they're not that great and it takes 3-4 to feel the effects when crashing off adderall. The main metabolite last hella long though, the half life is like 40-250hrs.

Or should I just save myself the trouble and eat them? I'm coming down off 60mg plugged amphetamine and in a horribly anxious mood, I need some relief with a quickness! Thanks

Any other information about this rare benzo would greatly be appreciated. I never heard of it until my doctor wrote the script.

I didn't even know dalmane was still.prescribed. good sleep med.Maybe I'm thinking of Placidyl. No help either way. Sorry, if you decide too , post the results please

I filtered and plugged 30mgs, and the effects took about 15-20 minutes to peak (as opposed to 30-60 min taken orally). Obviously the faster onset made the effects of flurazepam seem more pronounced/stronger although I believe it would've gradually built to the same intensity had I swallowed them and waited an hour. Similar to how oral alprazolam hits you harder and faster when compared to clonazepam which takes longer to build up, making it less noticeable.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't a drug have to be water soluble in order to be plugged/snorted/iv'd? I doubt a non-water soluble benzo like xanax would work half as good if you took it any other way except for oral/sublingual, simply because it won't get absorbed as well.
