I usually take about 10mg of opana NAS and have just come across a 1cc syringe full of fentanyl. i know it's fentanyl, the person who gave it to me is a nurse who is a very close friend of mine and has been since elementary, so that's not an issue. I know i shouldn't ask how much i should take but since it is fentanyl i don't really want to end up cold and blue and my math is terrible. How much should I plug or IM? I'm planning on starting low of course, but how much should i start my first dose with? I'm thinking a quarter of the syringe would get me alright.

edit: btw this is my first time with fentanyl if you haven't noticed.

How much fentanyl is in the syringe? This is something you need to know before beginning.
 
said 25mcg per quarter syringe? does that sound correct? it was collected from what he was supposed to waste at the hospital.
 
We can't tell you the concentration from over the internet. If it isn't labeled then you better trust your friend with your life. :)

I doubt there are any numbers on anal absorption of fentanyl and you risk wasting it that way. I would suspect there would be more problems then usual with losing it into fecal matter as it is such a small amount. I recommend sublingual/buccal as ROA.
 
I asked and he said it was 50mcg in a 1 ml syringe. Injected a quarter of it IM and don't feel much about 45 min later except for what could be placebo. I'll give it another 15 minutes before I IM another quarter into my other shoulder.
 
50mcg of fent is only equivalent to 5mg of morphine or so. If you are used to 10mg of opana (don't know what NAS stands for but you don't seem to be against injecting) you'll likely not get much from it. Though of course with short acting fent it's harder to compare to longer acting opiates what with B.A. and peak concentration and AUC and all the other stats effecting your high.
 
^5mcg of fent is pretty low if he is used to 10mg of oxymorphone. Either way as he has already IMed it all, and in larger doses than you recommended without feeling anything, I'll close this now.
