Iggy & The Stooges, The Velvet Underground, The Beatles, Nirvana, Pixies, Violent Femmes, Air, ABBA, Nick Cave & Bad Seeds, Dirty Three, Shellac, Big Black, Link Wray, Queen, The Fugs, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Joy Division, Neil Young, Mazzy Star, Mamas/Papas, Kinks, Devo, Lightning Bolt, The Fall, Leadbelly, Django Reinhardt, Zeppelin.

That kinda stuff

Lots of 60s psych/garage rock/folk/pop, surf music, 90s alternative, blues, punk/new wave.

Hmm, okay then- in no particular order- rock and metal; The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Isis, Mogwai, Alcest, Drudkh, GY!BE, Swans, Immortal, Kraftwerk, Amorphis, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, THe Rolling Stones, Dead Can Dance, Deathspell Omega, Paysage d'Hiver/Darkspace, Jor Division, Crowbar, Tool,Shining (Swedish one) Electric Wizard, Sunn0))), Neurosis, Om, Yob, God is an Astronaut, early 60's rock, some classical, some bands that I've forgotten.

I listen to tons of electronic, ambient and bits of industrial too. For non-electronic, mainly metal (black and doom), classic good rock and post-rock.

I sense future edits.

I barely listen to it now though. I reckon there's heaps of dark in minimal these days and...hang on, wrong forum!
