So it is the duty of senior moderators to mod the mods and their assigned forum (at the very minimum)?

Yes. That's the expectation otherwise they wouldn't still be listed as moderators of any forums

Senior Moderator is a customized title for staff members who moderate at least one forum and help respond to issues across all of Bluelight. They will address urgent problems, help make judgment calls when they are sufficiently familiar with the situation and provide backup for the normal forum moderators. Senior Moderators will have basic moderator functions across all the public forums. They are able to give warnings but will not be banning people. Senior Moderators will be on a level between Administrators and Moderators. Senior Moderators are given a PM box with a capacity of 1000 messages.

Haven't been around here for the last week or so.....
CONGRATULATIONS, all of you! I am SO pleased with the choices. You have all contributed much to the forum, and I always had a good feeling about you guys- Tricomb, TPD, Zneg.... Big hugs to all of you. You have been very supportive in the past, gone above and beyond. I'm glad you are getting recognized for this.
So, what's the responsibility like? Anything more intense than the usual dedication from you guys???

I spend the same time on BL, but I feel like I get more done in less time, without having to wait for someone else to do it for you, etc.

Reporting is immensely helpful.

not to change the subject , but I will have to look into reporting and what all it entails. I have heard it mentioned several times, but have never looked into it.
