a friend of mine obtained a mylan brand fentanyl patch and while he was moving around it fell off. now neither side is sticky and he does not know which side to tape down in order for the patch to continue working. should he be able to read the patch when its on or should it be inverted? thank you all very much for your help as this is all he has and does not want to waste it
 
He should be able to read the text on the outside of the patch when it is on.

If you apply heat to the patch (i.e. blowdryer) it will make it a little bit easier to stick back on your arm, but you'll probably still have to tape it down.
 
thank you very much my good sir my friend is very appreciative:D...he also happened to read on the pamphlet of info in the box to not tape down the whole patch but only the edges, do you know anything about this??
 
If you tape the whole thing down, it can cut off air circulation etc., isn't good for skin.
