Stimulants PLEASE HELP: Will xanax or anything else help a meth come down?? and..

SWIM is trying to kick a long heroin habit and was feining so bad that he took about 10 or 15 hits of meth earlier and is now starting to come down. Is xanax safe and effective to help the come down? If not, is there anything else that would work??

Also... SWIM's glass pipe used for smoking meth has a little resin and SWIM doesn't want to waste it by trying something complicated since SWIM is new to it. Should SWIM scrape the resin with a straw or light the stem and smoke from bowl???

Xanax may help you for the short term, but you are still going to have to deal with withdrawals at some point and at some level.

Also, I feel almost certain that amphetamines are a bad choice to do when coming off of heroin. Just saying.
 
Be careful of mixing the xanax with heroin. But otherwise, should be safe if just on a stim comedown.

And what aveo said - better to deal with the drugs head on instead of just replacing one drug with another.
 
If you are off opiates, yeah take the Xanax to 1) help with the meth comedown, and 2) help with kicking the H. How much Xanax do you have, and what is your tolerance?
