Opioids PLEASE Help! METHADONE to Morphine or OXY conversion

Hello I need accurate advice here; Only respond if you know how to accurately do this conversion;

THere is too much conflicting conversions on the web.

and Ive heard many different answers from even MD Doctors its getting ridiculous


Methadone Dose- 60MG every 24 hours



What is the equivalent Dosage of Morphine per 24 hours?

What is the equivalent Dosage of Oxycodone per 24 hours?


Also I will be taking extended release morphine or oxycodone NOT sure if that matters as the same amount would be released over 24 hr period even with instant release?????




Someone who claimed to be an expert told me i would need about 280-350 MG of oxycodone over a 24 hr period (he said short or long acting didnt matter if its a total of 24 hours)

and about 400-530 MG of morphine…

If this is in the wrong section mods please move but i feel I will get the most responses here… and Yes im sure many will say USFSE; but there is way too much conflicting shit about this especially with methadone conversion.

The reason you keep hearing different responses is because it varies widely between individuals and depends on too many factors to have a simple conversion. Methadone has a different dose/response curve for every individual and hence it makes prediction very tough.

You're not going to be able to find a 100% accurate answer, only guesses.

The best option is to wait probably 5-7 days until most of the methadone has cleared out and start titrating up with your narcotic of choice... if you go taking hundreds of mg of morphine in a dose when you would normally take methadone you are liable to OD!

Mate it has alot 2 do wit how long u been on done i am on 35ml but have beenon done 20 year n i would ned 400 oxycont easy to just hold as 4 morphine well i only would entertain the2 ml 60 mg amps n even they are ok at best
Done amps are ace ? Wheni satred i had a nhs methadone amp script 50mg conc n 4 10mgs a day !
