so a friend of mine about an hour ago drank a 5oz bottle of delysm (he weighs 200lbs) and about 20-25ish minutes later we found out its realllly dangerous to take dxm if ur on paxil (my friend is on 20mg) and right away he went outside and puked up as much of it as he can...do u think he will be fine or should he seek medical attention?

Paxil (paroxetine) is a CYP2D6 inhibitor (as is buproprion), but what makes it more dangerous is that it can lead to serotonin syndrome when combined with DXM.
If he is displaying signs and symptoms of serotonin syndrome, I suggest he seeks medical attention immediately.

To be honest I am not quite sure. He took me home about an hour and a half-ish after the incident. He was complaining that his head was a bit "cloudy" but other other than that he drove fine, didnt swerve or anything. I tried calling him an hour or so after he took me home but he didnt answer, I assumed he fell asleep.
