ive searched and searched the web and cant find anything similar to what im talking about I'm very concerned so any replies are greatly appreciated.
swim is not new to the fabulous world of dope, never really had any serious problems until today. this morning after her normal routine of waking up, driving to the next town, copping and doing her first shot of the day, she felt a "pins and needles" type of sensation in her whole face and fingertips. then she noticed that her upper lip was numb and when she looked in the mirror saw that it was swollen to about 5 times it's normal size, as she stared at herself red blotches began to appear all over her face and neck.
being surprised and terrified she drove herself to the hospital and upon arriving took another look in the mirror to see that the redness had gone away but her lip was still very swollen. because the redness was gone she decided to get some Benadryl and skip the ER visit. she is now waiting for her lip to get back to it's normal size.
a few questions, first of all why would this happen? pretty sure the heroin was the same stuff that she gets every day.
second, she bought quite a lot on this particular day, is this going to happen again if she does more of it later?
her only known allergies are pennicylin and birch pollen (pollen that is in apples, peaches, celery, hazelnut, cherries and strawberries). what could they have cut it with to make this happen?
last question, if she does more and does have another reaction, will the same thing happen? she is afraid of her body reacting differently and her throat swelling up and her not being able to get help quick enough.
this is very concerning seeing that she has been doing this drug for 5 years and has never had anything like this happen before so any replies or advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!!
