Sony is to launch a digital tuner for the Playstation 3 in early 2008, offering programmable TV recording functions to users of the next-gen console.
Warwick Light, sales and marketing manager for Computer Entertainment New Zealand, revealed the details to local website The Press, promising to "transform the PS3 capabilities so as to meet people's changing entertainment needs."

i just bought one of these (40gb) a few days ago and i'm hooked on Tekken Dark Resurrection Online, its only like $30 at the playstation store and the online play is damn fun, also Uncharted was pretty fun for a few hours. If anyone wants to play tekken online my playstation network id is the same as my username here.

I also read that they're getting ready to release their new dual shock packages with 120gb and 160gb hard drives. I should have waited!

Not a big deal. PS3 harddrives can be switched easier than a computer's harddrive.

I switched mine out with a 250gb Seagate from Newegg last month. Took like ~3 minutes. Now I have tons of space to store *cough* Legal *cough* video and music files!
