ever thought back and realised...
age 0-5..
the whole world revolves around you..
all you have to do is cry to get all the attention you need..
food is given to you.. (hell, for your first year, you get a breast put in front of you.. how wikkid is that..
)
if you didnt have any friends around, you could just imagine one to be your best friend...
your only worry is what you are going to play with next...
age 5-10
school...
think about it... 6 hours per day, with about 1 hr taken up with lunches, both big and little...
if you saw a kid standing by himself, you'd go talk to him, and end up being friends...
you always knew who your true friends were..
playing was fun...
to dream, all you had to do was walk through a toy store...
to work out what you wanted to play with..
10-15
still school...
u start to notice the opposite sex, and they start to notice u...
you could still b friends with someone, just cause u liked wot was written on their pencil case...
parties started to get more fun..
travel was no worries.. (thanks mum

money wasnt even an issue...
it just seemed to grow on trees..
but playing just isnt cool anymore...
15-20
wow... how many changes happen in these years...
school gets combined with work...
the body goes through rapid changes..
girls suddenly become so much more important...
friends become more distant as you work out who each of you are becoming..
parties get SOOOO much better..
getting around and being seen is soo much more important than family..
you havent got time to play, you've gotta work instead...
20-25
time flys before you know it..
schools all gone..
you gotta work...
material things that seemed to always be there..
food, transport, shelter, clothes..
now need to be looked after by you..
rent, mortgage, electricity, cars..
the lists never end...
hey, where did all that time go anyway?
if only i could just take 10 minutes out, to play...
25-30
for me, i dunno wot yet..
but it's time to look back over the first 1/3 of my life,
look back at whats important...
remember what it is to be a kid..
and to hopefully bring these values back into my life..
and always leave time for me to play........
