Join me in my second childhood. I promise that this one will be more enjoyable than the first. By day, we can pretend that we are adults...dressing up in grown up clothes and talking with deeper voices. We can go to the office or drive a truck and call it "work"...knowing all along that it really is just a game we are playing. When we get out of work, we can shed those stuffy old suits and shoes. We will put on big pants and brightly colored shirts...bring your favorite stuffed animal or even a pacifier if you like. We will play until the sun comes up. Dancing, smiling, sharing, connecting, playing...just like when we were children. Only now, we realize how important it is to make believe...it prepares us for the "real world". So, won't you join me in my second childhood? I play to learn.
