Sure was a cold and dark night
hope we never have to come back around again.
Worry not, today I'm leaving all of that behind
as I begin to climb. It's about time I said:

I won't succumb to the wind whipping around violently,
trying to scare me.
Fuck the fatigue because I'm pushing to the second, third,
winds within me.
Goodbye darkness, black and white to color, hello light again:
shimmering, glowing.
It's just a glimpse, just a glimmer, but's it's all I need to
keep myself going; I've

to keep going.

Got to be here for you.
Got to fight fierce. The tears I shed,
the fears I had as I was falling here years ago
can't pearce the skin or drag me in.
I'm going to win for me, for you.
I'm out of here.

Can't hold it in anymore, I got to let go,
got to row the boat, go with the flow. Do, don't try.
Second guess just means distress. Fuck it all
I know I'm going to make it to the top for you, don't
look down below.

Life's a witch, a super-bitch, but I'm
fucking her with a kryptonite broomstick.
It'll be some time to the plateau, hold on to me with
all your might as you sleep tight, child,
we'll make our feet to ground yet.
Back to earth we grow.

Interesting piece rewiiired. I like a lot of the fighting imagery, and the use of anger/frustration in a positive way.
