.:Plastic Blood Still Drips:.

She is biting down hard
On a tongue that slowly drips
Watching the liquid pool
And snake its way over her lips

She doesn't like the pain
Doesn't revel in its song
Instead she feeds intently
On the emotion drawn along -

- Her steaming pale brow
Glistening in this ugly light
She knows its murky waters
And daren't give up this long fight

Of grit, of anger, or hatred, of rage
Of digestion and consumption
A fetid narrow grave
For thoughts of inadequacy and of fears from the lacking
She chews intently

...Her lips are already cracking.

Wow.

That was so powerful.

I can feel the intense emotion behind the words.

Keep up the good work lovely.

Hope things are going ok (L)

absolutely loved the ending. it makes for a great change in tempo, and really reinforces the strong emotions that shine through. quality.

amazing imagery. loved the implication of the title as well.

edit: pssst.. good to see you posting again :)

I think this is one of the more intense pieces I have read from you, good tosee you posting and good to see the progression of your work.

The final line is what makes this poem so good. It completely changes the flow and helps it stand out from other poems. Leaves it with a more whimsical, open-ended feel.
