Plant bugs!

I just went out to check on my girls and there was some kind of bug alllllll around the stems, not quite eating it but it was weird because there was like 50 all around it. They are the little bugs like a quarter inch long that look like little armadillos and they curl up into balls when u try to touch them. How to i get rid of these invaders!!! I dont know if this is the rite threat to put this in so if a mod wants to move it feel free!

^ they are called wood lice.....i have mulch all around my plants...could they just be eating the mulch around the plant because i sturred it up? I only planted they a couple of days ago n they are only about an inch
