Planning the K-hole

Hello chaps, I've never done ket before and I'm planning on doing it soon with the intention of reaching the k-hole. I've been reading up on it quite a bit and so I am quite comfortable (and excited) with what to expect. I would love it though if a more experienced person would look over the plan as I don't really have anyone I can talk to about this.

Some basics
Weight: ~195lbs
Previous drugs experience: MDMA, mushrooms, cocaine

I'll be doing it on an armchair in a room with a few friends who won't be doing it - they'll just be sitting around watching TV. I really want to get to the k-hole so will be taking 200mg (from Erowid's Dosage vault) insufflated. The plan is to do 50mg in each nostril, wait 5 minutes then 50mg in each nostril again. I'll have a pair of decent headphones on and will be going through the following playlist:

Shpongle - Around the World in a Tea Daze
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Moby - God Moving Over the Face of the Waters
Iron Butterfly - In A Gadda Da Vida
Clever Monkey - Patterns (ft. La Meduza)
PQM - The K Song
Aphex Twin - 4
Lynx & Hellrazor - Locked on the Flow (ft. Naomi Pryor)
Moby - Porcelain
Aphex Twin - Gwely Mernans
Paul Okenfold - A Voyage into Trance

I know it's likely I will snap out of it like half way through that playlist but I wanted to make sure the music never just abruptly stopped so made sure I went over an hour and a half.

The questions I have are:
What can my friends (spotters) expect? Slowed breathing, semi-consciousness, incoherent mumbles.. stuff like that.
Does the dosage look OK? I want to reach k-hole but obviously don't want to knock myself out.

Much appreciated!

Your dosage is fine, might be a little intense since its your first time. As far as you friends, they'll probably just see you off in your own world all comfy cozy in the chair with a little of what you mentioned. The first time i tried K i started in a recliner then ended up spilling out of it (willingly) to roll on the carpet. It was very fun

Wish we had carpet :) so are you aware enough to be able to move where you want - for example mid-peak would you be able to stand up and swap seats?

The 5 minute gap between lines is daring, you might stuggle! :D Have fun mate, report back after your experience.

Have you ever tried Methoxetamine? If you do enjoy K you might enjoy MXE :)

At this dose no i wouldn't think, so plan on being in that chair for at least 45 minutes.
On a lower dose like i did and usually do (roughly 50mg) im able to move freely. But when i start doing more then i obviously become more dissociated and as time goes i usually just pass out.
Also i smoke lots of pot so this may have an effect on how aware i am. I have actually never tried K when not stoned. The only difference i can think of may be i wouldnt be as sleepy.
I hope this helps and get back to us with a report when you have tried it.

Seems fine. Also your breathing does not slow with ketamine, it is quite safe regarding ODing (although extremely intense experiences also can have their consequences ;) ).
A reason to have a sitter would mainly be to prevent you from falling and stuff, while you still learn to handle yourself while on it.

Just check the first time ketamine thread for general tips, maybe there you will get ideas about what info you need and when you feel confident: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=460208

have fun!

Also, your sitter can expect unresponsiveness and detached communication and behavior. Yes it may seem nonsensical. Try not to move around a lot or do things that don't go so well anymore. Better to just dive into the dreamy world!

ime beatless music is best for the k-hole, anythig with rythm is painful(for me)

Some Helios, The Orb or Solar Fields goes well with the k-hole. Gapless albums are preferable (like Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld). Even if it's music you wouldn't necessarily enjoy sober, you'll find it much more enjoyable than the music you probably normally listen to.

I almost never listen to music on dissociatives. It sounds shallow and tinny to me, and I find I have almost no emotional response to it. Anyone else find this?

have you tried beatless stuff with alot of atmosphere that sounds boring to you sober ? i too find "traditional" music unsatisfactory in the hole and even painful in a way

Just thought I'd update in case anybody was interested - took the ~200mg earlier today and had a great experience.

Did not reach the k-hole though so will be trying again at a higher dose some time in the next week.

I won't do an in depth review this time but it was a positive experience, however I will say 'Lynx & Hellrazor - Locked On The Low' sounded beautiful, as did 'Aphex Twin - 4'.

'Moby - God Moving Over the Face of the Waters' was an ideal come-up song as well :)
