Pizza Delivery Driver Calls Cops On Customer Who Smoked Marijuana

hah, what a douche bag. Papa johns pizza is gross anyways...its like whitebread with ketchup tasting sauce and plasticy cheese. My old weed dealer before he got strung out on oxy was a pizza delivery guy on the side. he used to sell 8ths in those ittle soufle cups you put a small side of sauce in. get your weed and pizza with the same phone call.

I've definitely had my place where I use to live smelling of smoke before I got busted. It was always stinky of pot when I ordered cause I generally wouldn't be hungry/lazy enough to order pizza otherwise. I've never had a pizza person even acknowledge the smell either. I just assumed they didn't give a shit. I tipped pretty average but always wished I could ask one in to smoke as well but never got the balls to do so. I can't do this anymore as I'm on probation now from getting caught but maybe one day...I mean, I'll be careful about this sort of thing in the future but this sort of thing has to have the chances of like 1 in a million.
 
I don't know if it's because I'm incredibly stoned right now, but I'm surprised nobody has commented on the fact that the guy was just holding the child's best interests at heart. I mean, he felt he was doing a fair enough thing for the safety of a child, given there were affective drugs around a child. Taking a tablet painkiller around a child is totally different than smoking a psychoactive substance around them.

I smoke weed and I am far from a stuffy, close-minded person and of course I feel bad for the guy who was "only" smoking some weed, and for medicinal reasons but you have to be fair here and respect that the pizza guy probably did it from the goodness of his heart and to protect another human life, in his perspective. Which is all this boils down to - you're going to have the angry stoners, and the agreeing non-stoners who both see it from very different perspectives and both obviously have substance to their viewpoint.

I really fancy a Domino's now.
 
thats crazy. all i gotta say is anybody who orders pizza hopefully you have your medical card. i have mine and i order pizza occasionally. I too never thought i'd have to watch out for the pizza man. my brother in law works for pizza hut and most of the staff including the managers smoke weed. so i will remember to not call papa snitch.

The pizza business in my town is the same way. When I was delivering, nearly everybody I delivered to after 9:30 or 10pm was stoned. Everybody on the staff smoked. It wasn't a big deal. It's the fucking pizza delivery business.

Seriously! stoners are probably a huge part of pizza business's income! most people including me like to order some fuckin pizza when i'm stoned. it's like giving their clientele the middle finger.

he could've at least asked the guy to his face. but in a way that doesnt seem too nosy or intrusive. I mean the guy was stoned he's not going to bite!

Naww man the child was upstairs taking a bath is what it says in the article. Its not like the dude answered the door with a blunt in his mouth holding a child while paying for the pizza. Im guessing that when the pizza dude came to the door he smelled marijuana and then saw a child. Im sure the father is smart enough to not smoke around his child. People who smoke weed are not as reckless when it comes to drug users.

Im sure he was a responsible dad who smoked weed for medical reasons while his child was bathing, then ordered a pizza for both of them to eat. No harm done.
 
I hear you, highhooked. To be honest, I don't know if I believe that the child was upstairs at all. How on earth did he see the child if they were in the bath upstairs? That makes no sense. The child might very well have been right there and then, but the newspaper changed it about a bit (shock horror!), and of course, who really knows?

I take your point though. None of us really know the true story, unfortunately.
 
^ when people have children, you'd know just by looking in their living room. That is if the parents are good people who buy the kids toys and don't blow all their extra cash on drugs.

Very believable story actually. Most good loving parents I know try to make sure their kids have plenty of badass toys. You could tell even if the kids are gone, they got kids :\
 
I don't really see a problem with someone smoking a bowl while their kid is taking a bath.

And that pizza driver is a disgrace to his entire profession and the pizza industry as a whole.
 
On the way home, this pizza man also kicked a stray kitten and pushed a fisherman off the pier.
 
Man when i was a delivery guy i brought weed with me to smoke with people. I think there is more to the story than being told.
