Hi all, I am new to the forums been a lurker for awhile though. I enjoy video games (rpgs mostly) and even old school MUDS and love to nod. Pretty new to Pittsburgh, hoping to meet some cool people around here eventually. Pretty awesome forum, glad I found it.

Tell me what an old school MUDS are :) What RPGs are your favorite? I used to love playing Final Fantasy but I haven't played the newest ones.

I have a feeling you will enjoy our Sports and Games forum the most.

MUD is a multi user dungeon basically a mmorpg all in text. The original mmo's pretty nerdy but its like being in a book to me. Like to play Wheel of Time based on Robert Jordan's books. Big Fantasy/SciFi fan (which is unusual for a girl I have been told). Right now Im replaying Mass effect 2 while I wait for 3. Loved Red dead Redemption and Fallout new vegas. Just got Dragon Age 2 and its dissapointing :(

Im mostly a console player PS3 but since I got this new alienware netbook, I have found its enough of a beast to play any game out right now. Im in love with it!

When it comes to video games I either play old school....NES/SNES...favorites being SMB/SMB3 and Punch Out...or I play Madden/NBA 2k11. Mainly love sports games for XBOX360. It took me 6 months to get halfway through Gears of War...hence my love for sports games!
 
Hey whatsup dude. I'm brand new here too. I just moved from pittsburgh actually... I'm about 2 hours away now, out here in the fckn sticks man.

I never really got too into MUDs cause my typing was never fast enough :( ... but I did play a little. I thought Achaea and Aetolia were pretty cool, especially Aetolia cause I like the idea of being a vampire! You know, I was playing those games on an old linux box with no graphics (console only), so I had to actually type every single little thing out... I bet if I tried them now with one of those MUD clients, with marcos and scripts and stuff, I could really get into it. Then again, do I really have time for games these days...? I am gettin kinda old here <28>

I do love me some rpgs, though. Final Fantasy, Grandia, Dragon Quest,... I've played quite a few of them. My all time fav is Final Fantasy VI (or III, its the same game)... Gau, Locke, Terra, fckn Kefka!... oh ya that game is da sheeeeet.

I like Resident Evil games a lot too-- not really an rpg, but they are scary as shit!

I cant ever get into sports games, maybe cause Im female. I love all the character details, clothes, weapons, money, houses ect and really love to rp.

The resident evil games and Fear always have my heart pounding to badly to continue playing, the effects are perfect for scaring you. The best FF to me was X I haven't enjoyed any one after it.
 
Oh ya X is awesome! I really love the fighting system in that one and the sphere grid (think thats what u call it, its been a while). Oh and blitzball, love it. Not to mention that Tidus is one of the best FF characters ever... I mean he looks kinda fruity IMO, but put some haste on him and he's un-fckn-stoppable!

No I haven't really played them in awhile, I have been strictly RPG or great action adventure games like Assassins Creed brotherhood was awesome. I get too bored with just killing, I like open worlds I can roam in.

Whats your fav RPG ? mine used to be final fantasy but they have went down hill over the years

i do like fable and fable 2 but the latest one was pretty gash

I can't say what would be my favorite that's a hard question. Dragon Age origins and ME2 currently but I really enjoyed Red Dead Redemption too. Been playing Dragon Age 2 and its a disappointment, elder scrolls oblivion was def better than any dragon age hrmmmm. None of that was an answer was it? lol

Yo if anyone is from around pittsburgh or Verona and likes to smoke weed and do shrooms/ then talk about cool shroom trips while smoking weed hit me up I need some people to chill and get grippy with
