Pissing blood from DXM and Codeine?

Just bumped my dxm up a little higher to 80mg opposed to my normal 30-40mg with my usual codeine dose, should I be concerned? Signs of kidney damage? Or could it be just the syrup which is red?

Well it was brownish/reddish all the way through, just wondering if it could of been undigested dxm syrup? Cos that's the only thing I can think of atm apart from blood.
 
it could be your adrenal glands, bladder or possibly kidneys from my (admittedly limited) understanding.
i really doubt it's undigested cough medicine, sorry man. i'd go to a doc and get it checked out ASAP if i were you.
how dehydrated were you? have you been staying hydrated?

Thanks for the response, hmm this is the first time it happened and coincidentally just when I increased my DXM dosage and exactly when it started to kick in. Im usually always well hydrated, I usually drink about 3-4 Liters of water per day on week days. Today I didnt have too much though prob bout 2 Liters today throughout the day. Just drank another liter of water and the color seems fine now maybe very slightly brown. Supposedly if there was a problem wouldn't it stay the same color? (Im aware that the color does get lighter the more hydrated u are) but one would think itd stay the same if something was not quite right? Im not doctor but yeah pretty curious as to what it can be. I just find it coincidental that it happened right when it was kicking in and with a higher dose.

Hopefully it isn't damaged from paracetamol left over in CWE's.

yeah man none of us are doctors. If I were you I would get myself a medical appointment ASAP and be completely honest about your drug use. If things get worse then go to the ER. this could potentinally be very serious, and life threatening.

i would recommend you abstain from all drugs from now on, or at least until you find out you haven't done some serious damage.

You can't look at this like this is an isolated incident due to just your dose of codeine and DXM now. Judging by your posts you have used various drugs heavily and regularly, and all of this has an impact on your body. You pissing blood might just be the first sign that you really need to stop what your doing and realise that you may be causing serious and permanent damage to yourself.

Sorry if this is harsh and causes you anxiety, but I feel you probably need to hear it. Go see a good doctor ASAP.

I have to agree with this. You really need to go see a doctor. None of us can diagnose you over the internet, and this may be urgent, so time wasted waiting for replies here would be better spent in the doctor's waiting room. For those reasons, I'm going to close this.
