Piracetam... zomg

I wish we could change the most commonly talked about racetam from piracetam to aniracetam. Aniracetam is just.....better.

I've personally tried both in combination with MDMA and piracetam is childs play in comparison. Ani gives such an incredible boost to your visual system, coupled with MDMA it's truly awesome. Even taking aniracetam alone colors are so much more enjoyable to percieve, plus the dosage is much lower and it works much faster, and stays in your system longer so you get benefits for longer. If you have anxiety this (imo) beats out benzos by a mile. Not to say benzos don't kill anxiety but there's so much of a dark side...with aniracetam you have no anxiety on top of tons of other benefits.

it's not too overly noticeable. the absence of post mdma hangover is arguably the most notable effect achieved from the racetam/mdma combo.
 
Is it okay to ask here where you guys are getting your Piracetam? I previously bought CTD Labs brand but they seem to have discontinued it. Can still get it online at some places but because it's discontinued the sellers seemed to be jacking the prices. The place I previous bought it from is now charging almost twice what I paid for it two months ago.

I only rolled once while on it and couldn't really tell any difference, except when I took two 800mg capsules of the piracetam while I felt the roll going away (hoping it would help the next day hangover) I think it caused a few more waves of euphoria but can't be certain, need to try again. Oddly, I think it has made orgasms feel longer/stronger so I've been taking it every day. Has anyone noticed this?
 
Does anyone know the mechanism by which piracetam potentiates MDMA? From the reading I'd done, I was under the impression that piracetam increased the amount of MDMA available to brain by improving cranial blood flow. But if that is the case, wouldn't the combination of piracetam and MDMA have the same effect as taking a larger dose of MDMA? That explanation doesn't seem to be consistent with reports of less severe hangovers and regaining the magic when combining these chemicals.

something along the lines of piracetam increasing the permeability of your cell walls and what not, allowing for easier transmission. like, lube, but for your brain.


mdma without piracetam = running a car engine with no oil, you're gonna fuck some parts up
mdma with piracetam = you got high mileage pennzoil in that bitch, gonna run like a dream

depends on what you want. I have yet to try aniracetam for postloading, i only postload with piracetam/alpha gpc. And yes, the thing that I noticed the most from using piracetam is that I have absolutely 0 comedown, you just do not get that etarded feeling. But I would not say that it "potentiated" my roll. As for aniracetam, I actually do have a bottle of anircetam capsules at home that I use for studying. For me, from what I experienced, piracetam made me kind of more hyper and up. Aniracetam is a stress-reducer, it made me feel SO much more calm for some reason. A lot of people say aniracetam+mdma helps get rid of that paranoia feeling but I have never tried it. But honestly, aniracetam is a strong ass racetam, don't take too much of it. Sometimes, I take it before I go to class, and I am honestly too calm to even pay attention in class, it is REALLY strong.

The site that was mentioned above ships to Canada, but if you are set on finding a domestic source, there is at least one site that will ship from within Canada (selling it by its chemical name, "2-oxo-1-pyrrolidineacetamide"). Unfortunately, it is very expensive. If there are other Canadian vendors, I have not found them.

this site has an order button so i guess they sell it, but i'm posting the link because they have links to many abstracts of university clinical studies of piracetam (widely studied since the 70s i believe). it's pretty amazing, especially the studies on piracetam's ability to help with brain injury and prevent damage to the brain from other drugs.

i'm stunned and delighted by the effect piracetam has had on me and i'm only taking 1600mg. vastly improved focus, concentration, ability to almost effortlessly complete tedious work i usually put off indefinitely. FWIW, i'm older (50s), and have a long drug history (alcohol, heroin, cocaine in my 20s-30s) and i'm a daily ganja smoker for decades. i've also had problems with depression and was on SSRIs for years. motivation and focus are major problems for me so this substance has been a Godsend. my friends notice it too.

i tried it with MDMA just recently and had an experience that rivaled my first. i'm looking forward to an experiment with LSD.

i suggested it to my neighbor who is in his late 60s and having marked memory problems. his wife told me "he didn't like it." not sure what that means, but i've read people (here and elsewhere) say it did nothing for them. can't figure it out. the effect is so pronounced in me.

ok so i wasn't a believer until last night!

back story: i've been taking 2 800mg piracetam pills per day w/ breakfast for the past couple months. for edc, i thought it would have helped me roll harder and bring the magic back etc etc and was completely underwhelmed by the experience.

anyway, after reading through this thread the past couple days i decided to take 6 yesterday before dropping. so i took 3 with breakfast and 3 with lunch (4800 mg total). dropped 1 pink dove around 11 last night. wasn't feeling much of anything and was pretty disappointed because we didn't have more pills. i've been rolling for 6 years btw and lately can take 3 or 4 and not feel any empathy, not care to talk to new people, not want to dance, not having good vibes just completely sad.

but yeah took 1, wasn't feeling it, smoked some delicious weed and BAM. from like 12:30-5:00 i was straight rolling balls IT WAS AMAZING. the magic was totally back. i was chatting up everyone at our party i didn't give a fuck, was dancing my ass off, singing, hugging everyone, my eye wiggles were intense...i could barely type messages on my phone and at one point in the night was trying to smoke a bowl and failed miserably at trying to light that shit. it was ridiculous i couldn't focus on a thing. that hasn't happened in ages!

only times i ever dropped just one pill were like the first fucking times i rolled. that was 6 years ago and i've been dropping every few months since then (at 3 or 4 a time). this one pill last night had me going harder than i could believe. like wtf why would i ever drop 3??

bottom line: i'm convinced and definitely recommend this to anyone who has lost the magic even a little bit!

Did you take the Piracetem with the X pills or did you load up beforehand? I'm curious since loading up beforehand didn't seem to do nothing for me, but when I took the Piracetam when my roll seemed to be ending it did seem to have some effect.
