Piracetam -- revisited?

Piracetam is a stimulant. But without all the "euphoria" and no shitty comedown. Nootropic is what's classified as, but what the fuck is it? I use at high doses sometimes and it feels like im "tripping", in the head.. weird/enlightening thoughts. Also there seems to be some correlation with GABA -- Piracetam and benzos which work on GABA? I don't know, but could someone explain what the effects are.. benzos and piracetam? So little information is known about this drug...
