hi all. i'm new and hope i'm posting in the right forum.
i just got my first shipment of piracetam yesterday evening and out of excitement, and hearing it would give more of a kick, i snorted about .25 grams. was not long after i experienced a hideous headache behind both my eyebrows.
silly me did not expect a headache, though i had read it as one of the side effects. the pounding lasted thru the night and is still with me this morning, so i did more research and discovered choline prevents a headache when co-administered. i don't have any lecithin around or anything of the sort, and it's too early, and i feel too crappy to go out and get some, so i looked up herbs that naturally contain choline.
i found that cardamom, cloves, ginger, and red pepper all have significant amounts, which i'm lucky enough to have in my spice cabinet. i've ingested a bit of each, enough to start sweating and feel diarrhea coming on, which is apparently a side-effect of ingestion of high amounts of choline. my headache has calmed a bit but not entirely gone.
is it pointless to try supplementing with choline 12 hours after my headache began in the first place? also, i would LOVE to take more piracetam today if this headache goes away (will be ingesting orally for sure), but despite knowing i've got choline in my system right now, i'm worried the headache will come back.
i know piracetam works after using a little last night, and i suffer chronic fatigue among other things. i really need to get things done today and need to boost my energy. however, i sure won't get anything done with a headache, so it might be pointless to take more this morning.
so what's everyone's take on this? take more piracetam this morning with my known cholinergic herbs, or wait for my headache to subside completely before even trying more of the stuff?
