Piracetam + Certain Psychedelics = No or Negative Effects

Did a search and couldn't find a thread about Piracetam having a negative effect or actually killing the effects of certain Psychedelics. I realize that Piracetam potentiates cetain Psychedelics and does so well, but, what about the ones it diminishes the effects and/or kills the effects all together?

I found out the taking Piracetam daily @ around 1.5G a day has caused a recent intake of 5-MEO-MIPT ineffective. 6mg + 6mg + ? to = no effect or at least no positive effect.

Is anyone aware of certain Psychedelics that should be avoided while taking Paracetam? A better question would be > how long should I stop taking Piracetam before indulging in a chemical such as 5-MEO-MIPT?

What I would like to get out of this thread is this >

1) Is there Psychedelics that should be avoided when taken Piracetam?

2) When should I stop taking Piracetam when I plan on doing a Psychedelic that is negatively effected by Piracetam.

I know Xorkoth had an issue when combining the two and am wondering what others have found. Maybe we can create a list of Psyches that do n'ot work with Piracetam and/or a solution around it.

Well, I haven't heard any story like yours before, but that doesn't invalidate your experience. I think you should double-check the quality of your material, though.

That does sound strange, have you tried anything other than 5-Meo-MIPT with it? You're not on any meds?

It's supposed to cancel out most dissociatives/anticholinergics. Other than that idk.

Material should be fine. I have used it a few weeks ago (before I started taking Piracetam) with great success and I keep it stored well.

Before I created this thread I found this thread > http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=349397 < where Xorkoth in post #2 seems to have had the same experience as I.

I mixed it with 5-MeO-MiPT (a tryptamine like mushrooms are, although much different from mushrooms) and it made me not even trip and feel like I had the flu.

So I was wondering if others have had this happen and if there are other Psychedelics that Piracetam may diminish the effects?

Skillet - no, not on any meds and didn't have any problems with 2C-I, 4-HO-MET, DMT, & DPT this weekend that just passed other than tolerance issues.

Maybe it was just set and setting but the post by Xorkoth got thinking that maybe Piracetam can't be mixed with certain Psyches.

It's very difficult distuingishing the effects of the piracetam and the placebomine. A while ago there was a craze for blackcurrant juice - saying it enhanced the trip. You had dozens of people saying "It enhances the trip" and as many saying "It doesn't enhance the trip". I think the key molecule in that case was the placebomine/nor-placebodine.

^ Yeah...it's just weird that the effects were totally muted and after multiple re-doses I could not achieve any effects. Like I said in a previous post, it may have ben due to set & setting. I will try again another time but I didn't want to waste any material if it was the Piracetam the was causing the lack of effects.
