Piracetam & Birth Control

Hello,
I am trying to find out if using Piracetam (AKA Nootropil) will alter the effectiveness of my birth control pills. I have read many articles about the possible benefits of Piracetam, and am interested in trying it and seeing if it would impact my life in a positive manner. However, my husband and I do not, in any way,want to risk my becoming pregnant. I have looked on the internet for this information and, as of yet, have turned up nothing. I also did a search on Bluelight, but only found articles regarding Piracetam combined with MDMA. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you arn't completely sure, just ask your doctor. It's not like Piracetim is a controlled substance, or drug of abuse (AFAIK) And if that doesn't work, use condoms in addition to the pill.

I now remember why I hardly ever answer questions over in Health - stupid "Will this mess with my birthcontrol" posts ... there are at least 2 of them a day ..
Oh well, I will shoot this on over and let one of the ladies have a go with it!
