pipe bomb taste

been about a year since i took a pill so decided to get one today sadly i do not have a testing kit but i slightly tasted the pill i have and it has that familiar sour pipezerine taste i really hope its not a pipe bomb since this is the only pill i have how reliable is the taste test tho? can my pill still be a good mdma pill with no piperzine even tho it has that sour taste
