pink speed

Well, last week when i went to my local Meth Store here, he gave me some 'pink' speed. It's great stuff, as usual from my Store, but why the f*ck is it pink? I know it has to do something with the cooking process, but can anyone tell me what precisely made it pink? Or is it just an additive to make it more attractive to kiddies/gays or stuff?

if it was made from improperly washed sudo it could carry over some pink color. i think that's more realistic that desoxyns.

Likely un-finished product. They never fully washed the psuedo-ephedrine, hence, were left with part of the reddish coating most psuedo pills have. That, when diluted during the process of making meth, is *probably* why yours is pink.

The best meth I've ever had was pink. I know plenty of other people who will attest to that. I don't believe for a moment that all pink meth is just lazy cooks not washing their Sudafed all the way. I'm sure *some* people color it that way intentionally.. or at least did a few years ago.

Many "cooks" will add color to make it look cooler. It may be that. Or it may be that the "cook" used some pseudoephedrine/ephedrine that had some pink in it and it wasn't extracted properly....... OR... The "cook" could have contaminated it with red phosphorous, which is a common compound in certain methamphetamine synthesis. Or a combination of any of those...
Could be nothing to worry about, could be kinda toxic, but hey, thenagain, it's meth right?

Isn't the trade name for that pink champagne? Phenom meth, I dunno bout that Desoxyn thing, I'm pretty sure its desoxynorephedrin, and if you look at the doses in the pill vs the doses of methamphetamine, big ol difference.
A friend of mine got some ice/glass some weeks back, a quarter gram did about 7 or 8 of us for 8 hours strong, then a good 12 more hours of no sleep. One kid at a party that Saturday night snorted three meth lines of it, he thought he broke himself. he couldn't sleep until Wednesday, even with two bouts of drinking and a goodly amount of xanax.
Pink Champagne is phenom, definatly a good brand name.

It's not Desoxyn - that is the most isane thing I have ever heard.. if you have Desoxyn, you sell the pills as Desoxyn, you don't sell it as crystal/crank/meth... it's not the pill coating, as all the color is destroyed in the reaction itself, and by the time you actually get to the step where you gas your freebase and get a crystline substance, there is no pink/red left... it's not food-dye, as well, thats just insane - why don't we see blue meth? I also have a hard time believing it's the red phosphorus, as you would almost have to TRY to get that to carry over all the way to salting it out.. in fact, I don't know if it would be possible, as you get your crystals by bubbling dry HCl gass through the freebase oil - red phosphorus wouldn't get mixed up with this I don't think..
What DO I think it is? I am honestly not sure.. even the first few times I made meth, we didn't have the pink color...

There used to be loads of stuff going round as pink champagine in the UK a few years back but the jury is still out on weather it was coke + speed (amphetamine sulphate) or MDMA + Speed or just meth which very rarely hits these shores. I certainly have never heared of anyone refer to 'meth' in the UK. Anyway god knows why it's pink, it may just be a gimik.

Firstly it aint Red Phosphorus, There is no way that the RP would end up making the final product a complete red tinge, it would be small red specks mixed with white crystals. PhreeX is right about the red dye of the pills not making it to the final product, it gets owned by the reaction. Around where i am it is food colouring that makes the meth coloured, usually red, i know that the red stuff has a good reputation, i mean red does go faster, so it might be a specific cook trying to differentiate there product, and Phreex there is blue meth, ive seen it, only problem is im not to keen to bang food dye, might have some funny side effects.

Johny, I still get some of that pink champagne every now and again (I'm pretty sure it comes all the way down here from Scotland actually)
Damn, it is goood stuff. I've got a good idea that it might well be methamphetamine. Like you said, no-one round these parts ever refers to meth, but I know that this stuff isn't anything like the plain ole whizz we get, even decent base.
It could just be pure(ish0 amph.sulph, but i don't think so somehow.
Innit a shame you can't buy lab-grade drugs legally the world over. Guessing games like this simply wouldn't happen anymore.

these people i used to know used to put food coloring in liquid k so that it would be all sorts of colors when it dried. although snorting green or blue k is kinda weird...

Ketamine is a differn't story - we would add flavor/extract and various colors... but I have never heard of this with meth... I have seen green crank before, except that was from using copper fittings in a [racial slur] rigged distillation setup (dont bang that) ..
