pink reaction??

i got a batch of these purple domes or purple sweet tarts in the LA area and when i tested them it gave a pink reaction that stayed pink. it didn't change color. someone suggested that the purple pill could have affected the color of the reaction. on dancesafe, it says a pink reaction occured in pills that contained glycerol guiacolate (sp??). one of those pills however still did have MDMA in them. have any of you guys seen a pink reaction? what could it be? a friend did end up taking one of the pills and said he did roll but had incredible visuals/hallucinations...

Not to darkpurple/almost black -> not an Ecstasy like substance.

I had a bad cold sometime ago, and my doctor prescribed me a pill that contained 75 mg. of DXM. So I was curious to see how it would react to the easy test, and believe it or not it came out pink. I cant remember what other medicine it had in it. It started wih a G though

Pink apparently is from glyceryl guaicolate (spelled wrong on Dancesafe), which is guaifenesin...that would be that thing that starts with "g" that probably gives a pink reaction. DXM apparently smokes and turns black, but verrry slowly.

C'mon guys. Back to basics. Purple / almost black is what we are looking for (very dark blue if you like it scientific). Anything else, pink, black (without that purple thingie in it) orange, red, yellow/green or no color change...-> IT IS NOT AN ECSTASY LIKE SUBSTANCE.

Chemical Generation believes that people are interested in knowing what's in their pills. MDMA, speed, K, 2CT7, 2CB, DMA, DXM, etc. More than just 'if it's not purple / black don't take it'. That's one of the many reasons behind E2. It seems that this is what the market is asking for, not the standard EZ Test response that has been wheeled out time and time again.
