Pink HQ's

several friends reported elevated body temperature as well as mild trippy effects. plus a need to dance in the later stage of the pill... all these are classic symptoms of 2CB. (found on erowid)
my guess is MDMA (or MDXX) plus small amount of 2CB. 2CB also contributes to a "stony" kinda effect, which is why it could be MDMA instead of MDEA. if MDEA, pple would be just stoned out and tripped out without that much mood lift?
some pple have said green shows up in the test solution. those who saw it after 15 minutes, the test solution turns green with any pill anyway. but some have said the green showed up earlier. possibly due to uneven distribution of 2CB in the pill? masked sometimes by the bubbling black?
just a guess.

MDA/MDMA combo could certainly be a good possibility.
Never seen a MDMA and 2-CB pill combo but i suppose it is possible.
 
stillall guesses, but at least the guesses are a bit more educated.
here's an idea, someone who knows about the synth can probably pull me up on this one.
doesn't all MDMA and MDEA start of as MDA? the classic Shulgin synth says as much. could the "trippy" part of pills such as these be caused by MDA that hasn't been entirely converted?
also here's a left field one that's always interested my...
apparently MDMA gets broken down in the body into MDA... would a very large amount of MDMA produce so much MDA by-product that it gives such a pill a "trippy" edge?
i have had both OEV and CEV from what i felt to be pure MDMA. yeah, yeah i know what Shulgin says, but i still feel that MDMA has some effect on the halluciation process....

MDA and MDMA differ by the final stages of the reaction. MDA is made by using and Ammonia solution with MDP2P hence MDP2P + Ammonia solution = MDA.
MDMA is done using Methlamine hence MDP2P + Methlamine = MDMA
thats simplistic but hey, it explains a point...
also, MDMA isn't broken down to MDA, they are both broken down the same as they are essentially the same base chemical. Actually, a great amount isnt actually broken down and is passed out of the body in normal bodily functions

anyway, from the effects of the HQ's, I would actually say they are MDA, the ones I had were more of an MDA classic effect and not MDEA or MDMA+2CB. The likelyhood of MDMA+2CB is low and the fact is that most pills out there that have been quantatively tested are actually MDMA or duds. This is seen at Dancesafe amongst other sites, 99% of pills are either MDMA or duds, and MDEA barely rates a mention...
anyway, sure someone will pick holes in this and all that so ciao.......
 
oh yeah, it is possible in the synth to have a reaction that will yeild a small amount of MDA when making MDMA...but the amount is minute, and you wouldnt notice

anyway, to all those whinging about HQ's, think of it this way...they are one of the strongest, cleanest pills to hit this country in a long time and they have had nation wide exposure...kudos to the cooks

I didnt say they werent fun pills...i enjoyed them myself, and i can admit that.
But personally, I prefer mdma. I'm really sorry to those who disagree with me but when i say a pill is a good E...i mean it is a clean mdma E.
I'm not into taking weird combinations. Its unhealthy. And I'm always concerned when i start tripping. Cheap pills.
 
could be just different bodies different reactions. *shrugs*
there will always be pple who like a certain pill and pple who dont. look at the buddhas and 007s for example.

Hey are all these HQ's from the eastern states?? I heard quite a few people at delerious (here in perth) had them . . . so are we now blessed with them too???? Would someone have brought them over from the eastern states, or are these nasty imitations trying to cash in on the good reports?? From what i heard, the ones here are pinky, and all good.

The reason you may have trouble loading back to the thread page is because of the massive load on bluelight at the moment. Multiple posting will compound this problem. PLEASE MAKE 10000000% SURE THAT YOU'RE IS TRULY NOT THERE BEFORE POSTING AGAIN!!! IT IS ALWAYS THERE!!!!
 
These pills are fucking shockers!
I had one of these double domed 'hqs' last night and i'm suffering from the dirtiest comedown i've had in years today.
I got home at about 11am...went to bed feeling tired and seedy, and just couldnt sleep...i was also having dirty hallucinations (not mdma hallucinations)...
And now i'm back out of bed, i feel uncomfortable and edgy. In fact, it really ruined what was a good night. I am used to feeling so much cleaner the next day after eggs (cus, motorolas, lightning bolts).
These are shockers
 
yep definitely noticed the increased sweating off these pills, moreso than other quality pills.
on the MDA theory - i was under the impression that MDA has a longer duration and is more speedy/trippy than MDMA. if this is true then the HQ's can't be MDA. my experience on them was too short lived and it was very easy to go to sleep after the effects lessen.

I definately dont think these are MDA - I had an MDA pill earlier in the year. The pink diamonds - they have been properly tested on an overseas site and discussed on here a few months mback.
Those pills left me feeling horrible, I couldn't dance, I wasn't really loved up, I had no energy, and off just one pill, I had the most horrible comedown.
I loved the HQ's - was the only one in my group who did, but did all the same. The others didnt like them because of the same reason as someone posted above - an awful comedown, which for some reason I did not seem to experience. However, while they were on them they loved them.
We had the ones that were stamped both sides, but I seem to remember them being flat both sides, and not domed......didnt get a really good look at them though....
Anyway, I dont think we will ever know what is really in these pills unless they get properly lab tested. Iwould be extremely interested in the results though.....

I know it’s been said before, however I’ll say it again “Set & Setting”
It plays such a powerful part in the whole process. I’ve now had HQ’s (one sided stamped version) on two separate occasions, with 8 days in between. The first being amongst kick arse beats, shite load of people and I was high in spirits with the experience being absolutely amazing, 4+ hrs of loved up fun,fun,fun… and yes I’d say MDMA (not only but definitely the majority!)
The second experience was more subdued than the first, starting at a little social gathering with dare I say it crap mainstream music – the comeon was more intense than last and inhibited me from talking which is why I bailed and went walking! As soon as I got outside and I felt it diminishing – very quickly! And within less than 1 hour of the initial rush all was gone – no loved up feelings, eye wobbles, nothing…. And I soon found myself laying down and having a quick nap!
My understanding is that E plays on the serotonin in the brain, which governs mood and emotions – now, if external forces are not stimulating you, ie. Funky arse beats, atmosphere and other people, your serotonin isn’t flowing thus cannot be excited as much! I may not have this right, however I do think it’s heading in the right direction.
Therefore, my little stash of HQ’s will only be brought out for times where the atmosphere is right for me! I think people should look at there own experiences and emotions and figure out when and where E’s are right for them, not by other peoples comments – as this can lead to disappointment.
Everybody is different and react to situations in various ways – find what is right for you and don’t head into a roll with expectations based on others!

Hmmm....I've been reading the posts for the HQs lately. Managed to score 10 to keep me going through the silly season

Problem is, the reaction I had was totally different to the ones I've read so far. I'm not sure if its got anything to do with the fact that most of the posts about them have been about how great they are, and so I've got the pre-conceived idea as to what to expect. But to be perfectly honest, they were quite crappy in my view.
Domed, HQ on both sides.
Came on in about half an hour. Eye wobbles (not major ones though)...and that's about it. Didn't last that long either...about 4 hours tops. (Haven't had that gorgeous loved up feeling you get in ages...gimme a CU anyday!!)
Anyone else feel this way as well, or am I just over-reacting from reading so much about it?

Just curious, did you happen to have your g/b friend with you? I find that if my girl isn't there I don't get as loved up as I would if she was there. I think you need to be in the right place to get that feeling, well that's how it is with me anyway.
 
i know what mdma is.. i have had powder that is pure and about 90%+ pure. i have had mda as well.. that stuff can turn you into a dance machine. but my experience with red hq's on the weekend was that they were strong and just sat you on your arse. and because they tested black with the eztest, i am assuming they are mdxx.. so i am assuming they would be mdea which i have heard possesses more tranquilising qualities as compared with the aforementioned?!
the hq's wouldn't be a textbook mdma experience that is for sure. the onset and duration etc.
i have never had straight mdea but i am just deducing here.
my final comment was, although they were strong, i didn't find them to be such a great party pill. too intensely on your arse without that much warmth and then it didn't last all too long. maybe 4hrs
