Alright, so that was just a lure really. It's not a film. But they just released confirmation today that Pink Floyd's The Wall is going to become a Broadway production. Interesting I'd imagine.

I couldn't find the news on this, but in case anyone else can provide a link, please do so.

i've just edited the thread title to make it a little more obvious (there's also a doco going 'round atm called wall so i didn't want people getting confused :)).

That would be interesting to see... I love this movie... and my roomie watches it everytime he gets drunk...

keep me posted on this ...

Hello, my name is SHATT, and i'm a Floydaholic...

Whoa, i pray this is true! Floyd is the greatest ever, and have have had many a trip watching The Wall. I saw them in concerte once, then went to Rogers Waters again years later, and both events were life changing. Tripping with however many thousand people listening to Floyd live, and with the HUGE video screen behind them was undescribable!

Without the freedom of a movie set or animation, I think it would lose a lot in the translation--even if there isn't a lot of dialogue.

I'm guessing that they will be able to project animations onto a screen (or wall?) of some kind, a bit like pink floyds live rendition of the album. It could work very well if they do it right, but I have to admit I'm a bit nervous about it.
