Pink champainge?

I used to have a friend when younger who sold pink champaign along with a variety of other substances, from what I remember it was amphetamine mixed with something else but does anyone know what? The reason being after not hearing about it for 2 years all of a suden there seems to be a fair bit going round my area. This is probably more a UK specific question as I've never heard anyone mention it on bl or anywhere else on the net.

The proper stuff that you are refering should be, to my knowlage, a mix of meth and MDMA powder.
It used to be around quite a lot at the start of the 90's with the early raves, in fact there is quite a good tune which is called 'Rushin on pink champange'.
However in the UK it may well be a mix of ordinary speed and MDMA which wont be quite as good.

Thanx 4 the info, the last time I saw it I was very ingnorant about drugs and would have known what e was but not MDMA

hehe, I suppose it's a good thing the supply dried up or prehapse 2day I would have been a little more pickled than I am already. I think the stuff we used to get prolly had meth rather than speed as it was addictive as hell, certainly the girl who used to shot it couldn't keep her nose out of the bag.

I have bought the substance labelled as 'pink champagne'. From what I recall it was just crank full stop. As far as I know iodine impurities in the crystal lattice aare responsible for it's pink colour.

Actually "pink champagne" was a type of pill going around in the mid-90's.. like the "wafers" - it was a generic pill, pink in color, with a very high amount of MDMA, hence, everyone names blank pink pills "pink champagnes" ..
I have now hear kids using the term to refer to methamphetamine and MDMA combined.. more stupid slang these kids come up with and make it damn near impossible to identify a drug by name..

yeah it's speed and MDMA out here in Oz so I assume it'd be the same in the UK.

No disrespect PhreeX but I belive the term pink champaing was used in England before the mid 90's + I have always known it to be a powder as I think most others have, not a pill.

I was also under the impression that (in this country at least - can't speak for the us/aus) Pink Champagne was speed and cocaine mixed together and dyed with pink food colouring to distinguish it.
However, I don't think that the stuff that has been flying around this country of late is a mixture of amph/coke....you can't tell for sure, but I think it might be methamphetamine.
