I still think that deciding to become a prostitute is one of those 'digging while you're already in a hole' decisions. I know how it is though. While I've beaten the shit out of every drug case thrown at me, my problem is credit. People don't know how unfair it is to be denied employment because of credit problems. It's like a systematic way of keeping you poor after one round of bad decisions.

 

I remember those days haha b4 2006 I had no sheet-and w/o this shit economy to boot, I always thought job hunting, interviews were practically impossible for me trying to get work-except for when I did NOT want work, haha.

I do know this, probably wont help you much--but Ive heard from some peeps that live in Alaska (not the villages, URBAN Alaska big city dwellers) they are NOT affected by this shite recession-unlike the rest of the states- & that work is plentiful. They are less anal with drug laws unless you are busted/caught driving, or harm others fighting, stealing, ect-BUT if you have a record, but have cleaned up and dont keep piling up violent/DUI charges, apparently having felonies in the past doesnt leave you SOL-especially if you dont keep getting busted 5 times a year.

My 2 cents for what its worth. Money is good, jobs are available if you can handle the fridgid winters and extended daylight or dark depending on the time of year.

 

Alaska's a frontier still, sort of. Low population density and large distance from the 'main' country allows for a separate culture to be developed. Sounds like a brilliant place.

@CB: Isn't that the truth! It seems like, especially in America, you fuck up once and it's a one-way trip to poverty. The system is broken.
