Fucking go on my son. That just brought a tear to my eye. Abit of love and unity. I think some of the younger generation could do with a bit this. Wish I'd found you behind the shop mate. I'd have given you a big hug and chatted til you were better. You know as opposed to twating you round the head and nicking your wallet. Bring back the good old days please!!!!!!!

My first pill I took half first and all the horror stories started going through my head. It was when the press were hammering the fuck out of this 'dance of death' drug. I felt rank, sweaty, extremely anxious, sick as a hound and I wanted to undo taking the taking of it. I was doing lurchy vomit yawns in the bog and sicking up water all over my raving trousers. Knees rattling together with powerful cold shivers.

I asked my more experienced mate what to do. Help, help, I'm worried I'm in trouble. He told me to have the other half. I did, and the next thing you know I was on planet love and it was all the more powerful for realising that I wasn't going to die. Or that if I did, I wouldn't mind, because I felt so fucking fantastic. I'm never going to get that again and I'm sure the initial anxiety dropping away like the ground beneath a plane on takeoff had a lot to do with it. Now I know what to expect. E's are still fantastic for me but I don't get that magical breakthrough from fear of death to total euphoria.

It's not as good as Ollie's story though!

yeah but theres a difference mate. theres people talking about mdma still, the same drug we was taking back then. so your spin on things although i understand where your coming from isnt exactly correct. the difference in generations before were taking different substances, of course thats the case now to, but were are still talking about ecstacy, that exists again after a while, its apprently as good as when i first started taking it in 1988

and the hippies had mda in the sixties. They called it the hug drug or The Mellow Drug of America. If it was about it would be as nice now as it was then!
 
Look at acid, im still talking about it and that generation was before I was born ;) I get what you mean tho about its constant variation in quality. It does feel like a miracle to get a real pill xP

Im going to go out on a limb here.

Im honestly going to say that me injesting around 350mg Butylone + 350mg Methylone was equivilent if not better to MDMA.

Its not that special. There are alternatives. Lot involved with that statment but ya get the drift.

EDIT : I have MDA crystal for next weekend +++ just to wind you up. ;)

I still love the free party scene - it's not 1992 any more so we aren't throwing shapes in our Technic's jackets listening to acid techno. It's still great for my generation and lots of old school partiers are still travelling & partying. I'll look back on these years of my life with a smile on my face but I hope I'll still be out busting a groove to whatever electronic music is giving eargasms.

Do any of the ex-ravers here still listen to electronic dance music?

i used to dj of course i do, lol. i quite like deep house and some of the tech house and minimal stuff BUT, it has to have a good groove going on. alot of it is really twisted and grinding, not for me at all
 
oh i agree with everytyhing hes saying, but i no from my experience after having longs breaks, it works again. youve got to rememebr ive taken real mdma products about 5 or 6 times in the last two years

It doesn't if you've completely ruined it. I had a 3yr+ break after caning fuck out of mdma to the point of being barely able to walk on the comedown and muscle spasms resulting in not having control of legs an them kicking about. That was doing increasingly big doses every other day for six months but then the magic was lost. I only had about 4 months of magic and 2 months of trying to continue using it with no luck.

The magic is gone.

ds i still listen to all electronic music but i'm so old i call it just dance, or jungle or breakz. or beardy man ,u should come round some time n step in to my toilet tardis complete wit 25 yrs of dance sorry electronic music' an American name for the genres' may i add,HMM. oh yea the speakers in the toilet tardis play whatevertrack is running thru ur eyes as u look in the mirror

if i still had my chippy or technics ma2 bombers i'd be wearing djaying and mixin it up so well that you'd have know idea the tune's were all from 1988-19996.Thee only Mc allow to say anything no matter whar kind of tune or set say jungle right up to pre acid house is M C Joe Peng , other than that various style of music deserve particular pertinent M.C'S. IT'S JUST THE FACT THAT M.C JOE Peng is so versatile he drop lyrics over any style of dance sorry electronic music. Plus i saw him whilst the whole crowd was on white mercedezes n he don itreal proper for dj Sasha at universe magor s.wales 1992 june... it still very very much stands the test of time n were it not been 4 Joe Peng it'd deffo be a classic Sasha mix but classic like his Eclipse mix's Peng takes it too places that Sasha could never have done by his self.
