I just wanted to let some people know the short version of my story about negative health effects from IVing prescription pills.
After 2 years of heavy daily shooting of an assortment of pharmaceuticals and street drugs I have started experiencing episodes of shortness of breath and all the signs and symptoms of talcosis. For those that don't know this is the general term for when microscopic insolubles make their way into your vital arteries (lungs/brain/heart) and start causing damage. I believe, mostly from IVing subutex, roxies, and metadate(methylphenidate aka ritalin), that I've permanently reduced my lung/heart function and maybe by proxy the functioning of my whole body. I can't imagine I haven't taken years off of my life.
I always was so headstrong about injecting because I used a sterile process and had big strong veins throughout the entire period, thinking that only collapsed veins would hint at long term problems. Little did I know I was quite rapidly depositing small pieces of filler into the arteries and vessels of my lungs, arms, legs, and elsewhere..
I guess my point is that just because you can shoot for 6 months and have no negative effects, doesn't mean you're not damaging your body in a serious way. If I could go back and buy micron filters for every shot and take it out of my drug money I would but alas, the damage is done.
I hope somebody benefits from reading this.
be safe yall
