Hi,

so I'm not sure if this is a good idea for Bluelight, but on another board I was a member of we had a threat where people would post pics of various RCs and drugs they bought to help others confirm they didn't get the wrong thing or something. No I know Bluelight doesn't do substance id and that he pics could perhaps be used to identify vendors which is also against the rules. So I'm asking you (mods, users, ..) do you think it would be a good idea or not?. Anything that would identify the vendor would of course have to be removed and removing exif data would also be smart. If yes I'm willing to contribute some pics,

Regards

I don't think this is a good idea. I see this getting way out of hand. There are other sites for this, as you probably know of.

This is why I asked. It could be helpful, but just cause it looks the same it doesn't mean it is. Second bluelight is against attempting substance id online. Third the more you'd put on the picture (packaging, baggies) the easier to identify the vendor.

EXIF data (also known as meta data) is one of many identifying features of digital photos. Digital water marks, device specific encoding pasterns, and government introduced fingerprinting are a few others. The suggestion of removing meta data is misguidance. Removing meta data alone doesn't relevantly enhance anonymity.
