Is Aussie Hip Hop really in that much desperation for support?

I have never seen so much support for it than I have seen over the last 18 months

There are definitely a few artists that have gone mainstream in that period that have heaps of exposure. Hilltop Hoods have just started their own label called "Golden Era Records", and are really commercial now.

All Aussie hip hop labels are independant, (apart from Bliss n Eso which are with Sony afaik). Its just a good message I like thats all
