The top one is a chocolate tortie Burmese, and the bottom one is a blue mitt Ragdoll (disguised as a bi-colour - he has a big white blaze on his face). I'm picking the Raggie up on Wednesday and the Burmese up next week :D

Anna the ragdoll is supergorgeous!! Dare I asked how much you paid for him? We have been looking at different breeds and the raggie is one of our potential favs.

Isn't he just the sweetest thing? He was $600, which seems to be about the going rate - desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, comes with lots of stuff. If you like I'll ask the breeder tomorrow (when I pick him up) about breeders in Sydney? She's been breeding them for a long time and seems to know lots of people in the crazy cat person community ;)

$600 is really good! There was one in the pet store on the weekend for $800 but I would much rather go to a breeder so I have the family and medical history and know it has been hand raised.
 
^ Definitely! It's alarming that kittens from petshops are actually more expensive, when the benefits of buying from a breeder are so much greater (knowing their history, knowing they've been well looked after and have had all their shots, desexing, being able to predict their personality better ... all kinds of stuff).

I'm such an excitable cat nerd ;(

Not of me, but I had to take a picture of this beautiful Moroccan mint tea I had while I was in the country with my folks this weekend just gone. The small silver container had hot water, and the cup had the mint torn up in hot water. So simple yet delicious!

My mum gets some wierd presents for me sometimes, but this really takes the cake. They're like police slippers with a sniffer dog on them. =D

Oooh is that thing you have in your right hand a strap type thing from the beanie mate?

There is a Quiksilver beanie this season (they market new designs every year for the seasons) that has straps like that.

Personally I don't want... I want those big homeboy style beanies from the early 90's to come back in fashion. I always wanted a homeboy beanie :\

^Not a strap, it has cute ear-warmer bits. I love it, it's lined with grey track-suit material for maximum snuggliness. :D
