PHOTOS: Rihanna's Shocking Drug Use

Has she gone too far?

Rihanna makes no secret of her appreciation for the funky cigarette, despite it remaining illegal in the US.

Ri-Ri posted some photos on Instagram over the weekend of her posing with what appears to be two very long ‘joints’.

She captioned one pic with the hashtag “#LegalizeIt”.

Rihanna took these photos while in Amsterdam, the European city famous for its love of marijuana and lax drug laws.

Do you think Rihanna is smoking too much pot and partying too much?

Hmm. I don't care how much pot she smokes. I want her to keep her voice... But she is free to do what she wants.

Shocking. Shocking that this is even reported, shes not the first/last/only cannabis smoking singer.

The title of this thread made me think she'd moved on to some really hard drugs or something.

But instead she's in Amsterdam getting high.

Who the fuck cares?

Fans are such selfish people.

They want you to sing and stress yourself out making them happy with your music... But then, when you relieve stress, you are a bad role-model... WTF?

It's none of my business what a grown woman decides to smoke. I despise (groups of) people who I'm not acquainted with (e.g. law enforcement, the government) who think it's their God-given right and/or duty to dictate to me, you or others what we can or cannot ingest, and then proceed to judge and rob us of our freedom for not listening. Fuck them! With a long splintered wooden pole. And no, I don't find it shocking at all. And yes, the entire U.S. should legalize it. And opium too so that their lapdogs will follow suit and I can finally open a classy opium den to the public. With belly dancers.

On the other hand, I do appreciate that many pro-drug war individuals genuinely seem to want what's best for us, them, their families, etc. It's just that IMO they go about it the wrong way.

As a fast-paced society who generally prefers we deal with problems by way of 'quick-fixes' (I'm guilty of this as well, I admit) - this sort of reasoning can actually spell disaster when dealing with complex issues. Recreational drug use is a complex issue. It may seem like it's not (i.e. the proverbial "you have a choice" to use drugs), but that's wishful thinking. It's no wonder then that this "war" is still being fought tooth and nail for over 40 years. Nixon's idea that America would rid itself of narcotics (sic) by the end of the decade by controlling (or so he thought) the flow via the then new DEA and mixing in some propaganda has had little effect on availability. And when you consider the one trillion dollar tax payer tag - wouldn't you say this charade has been a colossal failure?

Yeah the whole world should.

Check this from parliament a few days ago here in Australia when he gets asked about the possibility of medical cannabis - goto 4:35 into it. This is the shit we have going on here regarding cannabis in Australia.

Oh noes! An adult musician/celebrity in Amsterdam smoking spliffs for a photo/publicity stunt. The celebrities/musicians that use pot and other drugs vastly outnumber the ones that don't use anything at all or who are sober.
