(Photography) Why you love the place you live

I thought it would be cool to start an appreciation/photography thread for the places where we live.
Theres so much beauty all around us that goes unnoticed everyday, why not capture and share it all :D

I'm sure everyone has there favorite places around where they live, be it the forest, the beach, the city, the farmland, wherever.

Here are some quick shot's (I need to get a real camera ) I've taken recently from some awesome places around my beachy little city in Northern California.

I'm sure this isn't the only beautiful place in the world

I spend so much time wandering around aimlessly dreaming... I really need to get a good camera though right now I'm confined to me cell-phone camera (though its a good one for a cell phone, 3 mega pixels and a decent auto focus).

You're right across the bay from me, I recognize a lot of those places.

The river in front of my house has been carving up some really cool patterns in the beach recently... Makes for some cool swimming holes :D

And of course, the excellent mountain biking trails!

North Coast —

Todays mission -

1. Acquire non-cell phone camera
2. Smoke liberal amounts of NDTISO (hint: its green)
3. Snap at least 3 quality shots
