m4gnus - i honestly don't know much about my equipment and carry as little as possible. i just like documenting my life and prefer the quality an slr gives.
i'd much rather have a small point-and-shoot in my back pocket but the results aren't nearly as nice. i do have one that's dust/water/shockproof for occasions that i don't feel comfortable carrying my slr (burning man, block parties with water guns :D)
