Philip K. Dick

Yeah Philip K. Dick is really good,
I used to have all 4 volumes of his short stories; I have never read any of his longer stories.
I liked the spanning of topics that he covered ->
- government and social control
- identity (psychology/ai): I loved second variety
- time and space (physics)

I remember thinking that his 2nd collected volume was my favorite

I believe you should check out Victor Borges's Labrinths (or fictions)

phil k. dick is trippy!

i've only read two of his novels though..

- the man in the high castle
incredibly cinematic to read. i'm surprised no one has thought about making it into a movie because 1) it's a fascinating idea of what if germany & japan never lost WWII 2) the narrative structure reads like shots in a movie. it's believed to be one of his best novels and i'm still not sure about the ending! ...his trademark reality-bending, psycho dramas.

- do androids dream of electric sheep.
aka blade runner.. though nothing like the book itself but the mood is set.

i can't wait to read more of his stuff.

Im reading "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" at the moment. Planning on buying more of his work.
