phenylephrine HCl Abuse

I am currently out of cash, and looking for a household high; i ran across some sudafed, and though im not familiar with its effects i grabbed a pack for research. the only active ingredient is phenylephrine HCl but i couldnt find this particular chemical on Erowid. Does anyone have any advice or info on this chemical? Is this close enough to ephedrine for recreational use?

The Sudafed PE and all the other Phenylepherine cold remedies are garbage. It was probably pushed through the approval process because they were desperate for a decongestant that you couldn't make meth from. So, they approved something that was not very effective, since there weren't any other options.

Pretty pathetic imo - you can find some ref's in the wikipedia article regarding the questionable effectiveness of it. And it's never done jack shit for me. Gotta ask at the counter for the real pfed just to get a decent decongestant now. Adderall is a spectacular decongestant, by the way...

both. amphetamine works great, anytime i get spun, dry nose (and a horrible case of cottonmouth)
 
Yes. Benzedrex inhaler in the area that they have vicks nasal inhalers and stuff at the store. You gotta take the cotton thats inside out of the Benzedrex inhaler and digest it.:p
 
So the OP doesn't misunderstand vick's inhalers contain levamethafetamine which despite the tempting name will not get you high. It's propylhexadrine you want, unsure if their is any brand besides benzedrex, that is the only one I've seen.
 
Drug mentioned sucks. PseduoE. is way better. It sucks how it's completely regulated out of hell. You can still get them behind the counter, but now you have to sign log books and dea tracking shit. PseduE actualy worked good for colds and shit, PhenylE sucks, it just makes me feel shitty. I don't take them even with a cold, I think it's better w/o
 
In the US, at least, Benzedrex is the only available brand of propylhexedrine, as it is a schedule 5 substance if not manufactured with specific arrangements through the DEA. People vary in their reactions to it, but it appears about as fun and well-tolerated as BZP.

How much does one inhaler cost? And what's a good first dose? I tend to have retardedly high tolerance to everything ive done. I heard you are better off tearing up the cotton and putting in capsules. No nasty menthol or camphor. So, where can I find capsules offline? Can't exactly have mom order drug shit for me now can I lol.

About five bucks. Just get a bottle of pretty much any kind of large capsules and dump whatrvr is in them out.

Herbal supplements usually come in big clear capsules which come apart easily. I'd try to pick one that seems at least a little interesting to you on it's own so the rest of them don't go to waste.
