Just aquirred several of these and I'm jusy curios if they have anything to offer or are they just garbage. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Average amount for a rec dose. ROA and such. Thanks in advance.

ROA: oral. Take not more than 100mg if it's your first time, do not mix with other depressants. Average dose when tolerant: 150/200mg. Be careful, the OD is very possible with this drug. I'd say it's worth a try, but in the long term it isn't an interesting drug ;)

From what I've heard it's not recreational and I've only heard of one or two people that actually found phenobarb to be recreational

It does take a long time to kick in - and has an insanely long half life.

As others have said...do not mix this with other depressants, including alcohol.

Phenobarbital is a very long-acting barbiturate, which is potentially recreational IMO because it is a barbiturate. Something you must know, though, is that barbiturates are very dangerous. Mixing even seemingly small amounts with other CNS depressants can be fatal. With tolerance, the LD50 does not increase significantly, so you could become tolerant to a dose very near the lethal dose, which is not safe. The LD50 with barbiturates is very low to begin, there is not as much room for error when dosing. Because phenobarbital is so long acting, it is important you avoid other CNS depressants for several days, as the phenobarbital is still having its effect. Also, it takes some time to kick in to peak plasma levels, so don't re-dose hastily, or often.

If you have no tolerance to barbiturates, I'd say start at 50 - 100 mg. It is rather like alcohol in its effects, and like I've said several times long acting. It effects your entire system, and can produce ataxia on a level near what alcohol can do, so don't drive. Just take it slow, and steady, and read up on the drug, and barbiturates in general.

Long ago, when I was in high school, I had a friend that gave me some phenobarbital. It belonged to his dog and I don't remember the dose. Also I was drinking lightly on it. Euphoria, no. Mellow, well I guess so. The experience was nothing to write home about(love that expression).

Don't mix with alcohol or some shit like that.

Most overrated drug ive ever tried.

Was really looking forward to trying it and was aware of the dangers so got hold of some, dosed as was recommended (including many experienced BL's) ended up doing around 300mg over the course of maybe 3-4 hours or so and felt absolutely nothing.

Oh well.... Nothing ventured, Nothing gained :)
