Phenibut, strong enough to knock you out on stimulant comedowns?

I'm looking for an alternative to etizolam to prevent those annoying few hours after taking stims where the fun has gone but you can't sleep. I'm wondering if phenibut is potent enough to knock me out after taking stims? Or is it something you'd only really take to treat anxiety?

I don't have first hand experience with phenibut but no one else has replied so I'll give it a go...

I have done research on phenibut as I like the downers and its legal status is fairly ambiguous here. I can buy it legally so thats a plus.

Anyway I read a few trip reports and heard mostly negative things about skyrocketing tolerance and terrible withdrawls. But I suppose that depends on how much you plan to use.

I find phenibut quite unpredictable.
It certainly won't knock you out on command. Not in my experience anyway.
Takes a few hours to take effect, and lingers well into the next day.

Some sedation, but paradoxical stimulant-ish effects are likely as well.
It seems highly dependent on individual metabolism and dose. I found the sedation to be most pronounced when attempting to wake up the following day - others seem to have a range of responses.

Yeah I have read several reports but none of them discuss the effects of phenibut on top of a stimulant comedown, but focus on its effects when taken alone. I figured someone here must have at least tried using it for this purpose. I'm not too fussed about tolerance/addiction/withdrawal as I don't suffer from any anxiety issues and am only interested in something to help me get to sleep after stimulants (1-2 times a month). I'd consider the day after effects as a fun bonus really as a night out on stimulants usually leaves me pretty wrecked the next day... Etizolam works fine for this usually, but phenibut would be cheaper for me!

quite a bit of information here - I'm sure one of those have used it in conjunction with stims or to knock the edge off a stim binge.

I took it once towards the tail end of an adderall high and it synergizes well but won't bring you down. It can help relax a bit but nowhere near as good as a benzo. It does potentiate benzos and z drugs though
