What's up everyone.
Lately I've been feeling really lethargic and fatigued, as well as mentally foggy. I had a REALLY bad cold for a couple months, and it's now the 3rd month since getting it and I still feel terribly exhausted constantly. I wake up every day and feel like going back to bed, until I do so later that night. I have gotten blood tests done, and everything is apparently in check, so now I'm doing some intense supplement shopping to hopefully get me feeling healthy again. I have already purchased Protein powder and Multivitamins, and eat as healthy as I can manage.
In the meantime though (not that I wouldn't already be doing them), I rely on stimulants pretty heavily, being Coffee and occasionally Dexamphetamine, for studying and getting daily chores done. Even while taking/on them, I still feel exhausted most of the time, and with doses high enough to make me feel temporarily functional, I commonly get anxiety along with it (uncomfortable, distractive and counter-productive). So here's what I'm thinking...
These are purely for anxiety, by the way. To counter the jitteryness and anxiety I get from drinking Coffee and taking Dexamphetamine, and soon PMAA. I don't expect them to rival prescription Benzodiazepines in effect, as I already get prescribed Valium that I don't take, due to my already low energy, and the powerful sedative effects.
Please offer your opinions, experiences and even suggestions/additions. P.S, I know this could probably fit well into the Supplement/Nutrition thread in the Healthy Living section, but topics get lost and confusing, not to mention barely noticed within that combined thread these types of discussions get moved to.

- Phenibut - Some brief research tells me that this is the most powerful of the listed, and is similar, but different to Picamillon. Apparently tolerance builds quite quickly with regular use and it can lose a lot of it's effect.
- Picamillon - As I read, Picamillon is said to work similar to Phenibut, with a lot of people claiming that it has a different feeling however. A lot more reports of this "not working" though...
- L-Theanine - L-Theanine sounds promising, so I'll probably end up buying it unless people convince me out of it. I'd love to know what everyone thinks about it in comparison to other effective supplements, or even prescription medications.
- L-Glutamine - I believe this is a precursor to GABA, when combined with something else... Hopefully someone can elaborate.
