About six hours ago I dosed phenibut. I usually take roughly 1/2 tsp which is ~1.5-2g. I wasn't paying attention, mixed up my measuring spoons and used the 1/2 tablespoon instead of teaspoon (around 5 grams). Big overdose.

Well shiyyyt...for the past four hours I feel like I've been sitting in a centrifuge. It's going to be a long fucking day. This is not pleasant.

Is there anything I can do to minimize my discomfort? Any phenibut overdose stories to keep me company? I don't know.

Halp.

I think the best you can hope for is to call a friend over and wait it out.

Edit: 1/2 tablespoon is 7 grams. yikes.

You should be fine. Though the most I've taken is probably around 5 grams (not all at once though, mind you; perhaps over about 4 hours), I know people who have taken 6 - 7 grams at once and on some occaisions as much as 10 grams over the course of a night (6 hours?). Though, bear in mind, these measures are with some tolerance.

I would expect you to just be really lethargic and probably end up nodding. The nod might be scary, as when I've experienced it on phenibut, you could be in the middle of anything and it's almost as if your brain just turns off for some bizarre second, like some kind of weird inverse of a brain zap.

TBH I would expect the vertigo to be worse tomorrow when you're off. The first time I did a lot after falling asleep and waking up the next day, it felt as though my head was vibrating back and forth in some kind of crazy string-space for a good 4-6 hours before it calmed down. I solved this by laying down and continuing to sleep. Ended up having a fantastic trip on 4-aco-dmt that night just the same, so as you might be able to tell it'll wear off just fine.

If you're still worried, call a friend over to hopefully take care of you. You might become nauseous, but that's the worst I expect (note that I don't get nauseous easily, but a friend of mine would always end up puking if he took more than 2.5g).

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mention, if you took a dose like that the total duration of prime effects should be 12-14 hours I'd expect, which at that point you'd probably be well on your way down. If it's been six hours since you posted, then take solace in the fact that you're nearly over the hill, so to speak.

It's been nearly 12 hours since ingestion and I still feel just as bad. Unfortunately I had been taking morphine and drinking tequila when I dosed (yeah I know). I had slept very little in the past few days despite gorging myself on clonidine and antihistamines, and I thought phenibut would help me sleep. Yet...I have been awake for over 2 days (and I don't use stimulants) and I still cannot sleep.

I wish dearly I could sleep it away but I don't even feel the least bit tired despite concurrent use of at least 5 different sedatives, because I feel like I am perpetually in free fall.

I think I might try to swallow a massive amount of benzos in an attempt to black out because fuck this shit,

Instead of dosing more why not visit the ER and get them to put you out to get through it. Doing it alone is incredibly risky. Tell them you only did it to try and sleep and still can't. They can help you.

It would probably cost me hundreds of dollars and also I fear being marked as some kind of drug addict/seeker in my medical records.

Also, they would probably give me lorazepam which doesn't do shit. I literally swallowed 30mg at once with no benzo tolerance a few months ago and I still couldn't sleep.

What the fuck is wrong with me. I think a bullet is the only thing that can actually put me down.

Is there not free emergancy treatment over there? They can mark you as an addict all they want. They can't prove it if you tell them you just really needed to get to sleep that you've taken all you've said and still not been able too, chances are they'll give you something stronger in that instance. Right now the most important thing is getting you to sleep. Sleep deprivation can really fuck you up.

No, I live in the land of the free

so naturally basic ER visits cost $300 with health insurance and $3000 without.

Definitely feeling better now. Still somewhat nauseous but acquired some thorazine and amitriptyline so hopefully I can now sleep a little.
