how can this stuff have a half-life of five hours while taking hours to even start noticing effects? this does not make sense. the duration also far exceeds the half-life, which also doesn't make any sense. huh.

this seems like the only logical explanation, unless we're all fooling ourselves into thinking we're feeling what isn't there.
