Phenibut/diazepam tolerance similarities?

If I already have a high tolerance to benzos/ diazepam will I most likely need a high dose of Phenibut hcl to feel decent effects?
I know Phenibut is a GABA receptor agonist as well as diazepam enhances GABA receptor function so I am thinking yes, I won’t feel much off of the recommended dosages of Phenibut. I have tried 1g and felt not much other than trippy sleep and then tried 1.6g earlier in the day and combined with caffeine and still felt not much.

Are you sure about the dose, the phenibut I have are 250 mg each and I tried taking two of them and felt something , do you mean a gram and not mg ?

Not in my experience with these drugs.
I am a benzo head (barely any soon not another break ha for a year prolly but itll be sittin there in the safe and its either the 45 or the benz if i open that safe. i do not open that safe.
No. Phenibut I dose every coupla days and when i was eating bars a Vs, I was dosing phenibut hcl every third day. I timed it to help push me through stressfull shifts and it worked like clockwork. No issue ever nothins a problem.
The bars (real) and such helped at work too.
They both doing what they do as they have for years now.

when i dose benzo it medial to high
phenibut @ 1.5g is about as high as I go as there are diminishing returns at too high a dose so I keep it low everyone reacts differently the ymmv

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it alot. I have also struggled with vals and xans more so the vals mixed with alcohol. Always pharma grade and was dosing as high as 100mg per night at a time but I was always able to stop for long periods of time and be almost completely clean apart from alcohol (im an Australian, its part of my DNA). Jokes.
I just recently learnt about phenibut (i know im a little late to the party) and really liked hearing that users reported more of a happier experience, no benzo rage or black outs but still got relaxation out of the drug/nootropic and after my first two tries on it I know i definitely felt something calming/ uplifting but nothing compared to the pure tranquillising, muscle relaxing feeling of vals and also nothing like a watered down version of MDMA like I had read. So I wondered if my former benzo tolerance was going to render this drug useless on me.
Either way, thank you for your input. I will take your advice and not bother with trying to keep pushing the dosage because im certain my supply is legitimate. Thanks dude

soon as i saw this i was stuck
this is mainly why i have to limit my use. i will take to extremes and it always ends up fucked up. not sure how I have made it over 50 years and 30 of those were benzos prescribed for attitude. haha

I took 1.2g phenibut this am ~5 and on the porch listing to some music its really nice with phen.
Bewn fuckin with phenibut (hcl and faa all the same ime others say different ) for ~3 years and it does help my benzo cravings.

Without weighing them how many capsules would you think be a gram, I’m guessing 4-5

oooh they come in different sizes so...
i do bulk but id say .5-1g...?could be lower like 250 as is sposed to be a "normal" dose on lable

I bought raw powder. I use micro scales. So i know the dosage was spot on.

I doubt there is much, if any, cross-tolerance. benzos are positive allosteric modulators of GABA-A, and phenibut is a ligand of voltage dependent calcium ion channels and a GABA-B agonist.

Thanks I figured my problem out. I was taking my dose too late in the day and too close to meals and by the time the drug had most probably reached peak levels I was asleep.
Today (Saturday in Australia) I had a dose of 2g on an empty stomach with some caffeine at about noon and by 2pm I could definitely feel the effects.
