Misc Phenibut + Benzodiazepines (anxiety related)

Hi all.

I just got home from the hospital as I had to meet with a specialist in order to plan future procedures in an attempt to cure a physiological illness of mine.
As I suffer from severe socialanxiety, I knew that visiting the hospital would be a tuff one and that I would need to take some drugs to get through it.
My options were Phenibut or benzos, but as I needed to be clear headed enough to explain symptoms and stuff like that, I choose Phenibut.

I took 720 mg (I use it regularly, like 10-25 times a year and have been doing so for about 1 1/2 year without any tolerance development).
My dose is always somewhere between 700-1100 mg, in one dose with no redosing. I have never combined the two, but today I choose to do so, in very small doses so I added 7,5 mg Oxazepam, taken sublingual.

The anti anxiety effect was so strong that I would not have imagined it at all! I mean, both drugs were taken in very small amounts and even though they potentiate each other to some degree, the effects were just out of this world!

I had to get naked in front of 3 female docs (Im a male) and I didn´t give a fuck! Okay, it wasn´t fun, sure, but without any drugs at all, I wouldn´t even be able to show up for an appointment like that.

So why am I rambling? I just want to share this experience as it might help someone else. In order to get this kind of anxiety relief I would need a much larger dose of benzos or Phenibut which would cloud my mind. This combo did not affect my thought process (at least I wasn´t able to tell) or my body control (like walking) or anything like that which I know a larger dose of either drug would have done for sure.

I like Benzos, I love Phenibut and now, I love Phenibut + Benzos too! (even a very weak one as Oxazepam!)

I would like to add that this combo will be very habit forming for some people and doses should always be kept low for both drugs when combining GABA agonist - even though they don´t work on the same receptors within the GABA receptor complex there will still be some synergy for sure.

Phenibut's always felt dirty to me (causes stomach cramps at high doses, mind fog), I don't think it can compare remotely to benzos in terms of anxiolytic effects. It is however useful as a sleep aid for me especially during benzo withdrawal.The best otc sleep aid available as higher doses will always initiate sleep as it's a gaba agonist, much better than those useless antihistamines (taken 100mg of doxylamine with no sedating effect!).

Yeah, the phenibut+benzo combo is just incredible. Phenibut I believe works on exactly the same GABA receptor as alcohol, so when you combine the two, you're just getting a full GABA experience, with none of unpleasant effects of alcohol. And yeah, as posted above phenibut is addictive, especially when combined with a benzo; I'm taking around 10 G's of phenibut and close to 20 mg of etizolam or diclazepam, almost daily. IME it's very important to cycle your use of either drug.

I've had 3mg xanax + 0,5mg triazolam + some quantity of 1,4-butanediol (you can guess it was a while ago, about 7-8 years ago). Would one be safe to assume phenibut would act similar as 1,4-butanediol? Cos if so...I know where to run, not walk buy a lot of phenibut for very cheap.

too bad 1,4-butanediol is so hard to find, not banned in canada, yet nobody attempting to take advantage of that.

Phenibut is a supplement more so. It has no name brand can be bought on Ebay or in some stores. I found it in the Vitamin Shoppe.
Very nice effect.

Dopemegently was referring to 1,4 butanedlol, not phenibut. I personally have found this combo to take that initial bit of drunky/euphoric type state the first 15 minutes of a all at once benzo dose can induce, away. Sort of like how your first ever benzo dose of the day is the strongest then when you dose later, it sort of melds in, if you know what I mean. Sort of like phenibut was that first benzo dose, and then when I actually take the valium, I don't feel it kick in or make me that drowsy.

I take the phenibut one hour beforehand however. How do you guys dose each chemical when you do this combo?

I took 4grams of phenibut almost once a week and was fine. One day took around same amount from same package and was sick for more than 24 hours, vomiting non-stop all day.

You know, I am surprised that Phenibut is actually still legal. I thought the pig bastard dogs would of been all over it by now...perhaps because it does not kick in instantly or cause drowsiness/euphoria?

Nah, it doesn't have a brand name. It used to be sold (like GBL) online a decade+ ago as "Tape Cleaner". Well it is an actual use for it apparently.

Yeah, I took it once and it had such a positive effect on me, (it seems to go well with the bupe I take, and always gives me a mild euphoria.) I couldn't leave the stuff alone, so started taking more and more. The reason I started buying those RC benzos was originally to stop taking the phenibut, and doing a short benzo taper. Didn't quite work out that way though, as the two mix so well. Luckily, I don't think I have a physical dependence to the benzos, but I do to phenibut for sure. From now on, I'm probably going to try just taking the phenibut and gradually reducing my use. I just hope it goes smoothly, I really do.

I think phenibut would have been banned for sure if it started being sold by headshops and such as a legal high, but it's got no real recreational value IMO so it luckily seems to have slipped under the radar; it's a pretty subtle drug after all - hardly a party drug. Btw it usually takes around 2 and a half hours to kick in and I redose twice in a day, sometimes 3.

Not by a long shot in my experience. But phenibut WD is hell on Earth though.

This thread serves no HR purpose other than to tell people not to take phenibut and benzos together. I did the same thing for a few months and had some interesting moments to say the least.
