It is scientifically proven that phenazepam takes ~2 hours to kick in, in my body. How do I know this? I can read a clock.
I'm not sure the actual reason though. I'm sure someone in the ADD forum does.
Keep in mind that the half-life of phenazepam is absurdly long. You'll have to look it up, but it's even longer than clonazepam I believe. This being the case, the "high" and general fade (including anxiolitic effects), wear off long before the drug is out of your system. This makes it very easy to OD on and/or black out, especially combined with other CNS depressants, alcohol being one of the worst and most common.
