Oh boy, where do I start....

So I receive a phone call from a person I won't name. She says she found some drugs that had been hidden in the garage by someone else. I'm stoked because there's half a bag of MDMA, along with a bunch of phenazepam in another bag.

This unnamed person (no this person is not me) wanted to take some MDMA to feel more awake and get some things done around the house. I tell her she needs to wait until I get home so she doesn't accidentally take the wrong thing. Bags are no longer labeled for some reason and I say it's a VERY bad idea to not wait until I get there to make sure no one ends up taking phenazepam.

Fast forward about 3 1/2 hours later, I get home and walk in the door. Unnamed person is lying on the floor passed out in the kitchen. She apparently was in the process of making coffee and passed out during the middle. Coffee bag on the ground, half full pot of water.... You get the point.

I wake her up, she is CLEARLY super fucked up. Can't even walk, constantly falling over etc. Keeps asking the same questions over and over and over and over. Super amnesia.

I ask, did you take any of what was in the black spaded bag. I'm told "just a little". Well we all know that means it was actually a shit ton because it's phenazepam.

It has now been over 36 hours since then. She slept ALL day yesterday and last night. Still fucked up this morning. Having trouble walking, slurred speech.

I can't even think of what I can do to remotely reverse this phenazepam. A high dose of meth ? I don't know what to do except wait it out.

wait it out. keep an eye on her to make sure her vital signs are good and in case she was to get sick and choke on the vomit or something like this. i wouldnt give her any meth, that wont really solve the problem, just keep her awake while still being super fucked.

phenazepam has a super long half life so she might be like this for another day or two before she starts to sober up. it is a classic benzo overdose, but as long as no other drugs are involved she should be ok. i wouldnt bring her to the er unless something changes.

If you can hide the drugs, you could take her to the psych ward if you can't watch her the whole time. They'll basically let her sleep it off too, but if you tell them she took an unknown high dose of phenazepam, they will periodically wake her up to check her blood pressure and pulse, make sure she stays hydrated, etc. She needs to monitored, especially when she starts to come down. She could easily become psychotic and pull a kitchen knife on someone or herself, and you don't have enough non-lethal force to stop. At least if she starts to punch out a nurse in the hospital, there is a security team and even a tazer if it really comes down to it. They won't press charges if she does come down with drug-induced psychosis, and they have a full staff.

You may be able to watch her, but if you leave the house for even 10mins to buy food or whatever, and she cuts herself, you can be at partial fault for not reporting it. Take all sharp objects out of the bedroom she is sleeping in, and check on her frequently. And sleep in the same bed as her at night.. If that is of questionable ethic, sleep on the floor. When she starts to become functional and not just sleeping, that's when you need to be on your toes. This is probably going to take several days to run its course, and if you can't devote the time and energy, you MUST leave her in professional care.

If you take her to the ER, be smart. You may well be asked questions by LEO, and its important to answer all questions necessary to get her proper treatment, but you can't admit any guilt or show any mal intent. Don't get paranoid, and don't resist cuffs. Have a straight story, and don't lie about times and places. That's your biggest worry IMHO

Ugh this is a mess to deal with. Other person in the house apparently took some too, woke up to go to work this morning and lo and behold... I come home to his truck being messed up. Driver side mirror is gone, front bumper is beat up.

He left at like 5 AM so I wasn't even awake, his usual time to go to work. Ridiculous...

They have literally both been sleeping for ever. Still sleeping right now... Both seem to be fine. I figured all I could do was wait it out. Only the phenazepam was involved. I'm not worried about anyone dying per say, other than possibly waking up and falling over and hurting themselves. I've already had to guide up and down the stairs and around the house a few times.

sounds like a typical phenazepam train wreck, best just to wait it out and monitor the individuals so that they do not drive or hurt themselves. i've blacked out for weeks at a time during my worst phenaz binges, so it'l take a little while to get shit together but they should be fine if you can keep them from accidentally killing themselves.

a high dose of meth? lmaoooooooo...NO

It was more of a rhetorical question. I realize it wouldn't help the situation.

This is why I hide my phenazepam and rarely EVER touch it. They are doing better, though BOTH people managed to bust off their driver side mirrors. Yep, driving when I told them not to but of course I had to leave for work.
